The Desmond Hotel Malvern - Kelly and Scott
As a wedding photographer/videographer, there is no greater honor than when a family that you’ve worked with for years reaches out and invites you back to share with and capture for them another one of the most exciting events of their lives. We were absolutely thrilled when Kelly and Scott reached out to us to capture the memories of their wedding day, as we have done for Kelly’s two sisters, her cousin, and some friends!
We started the day hanging with the couple during their preparations. Scott, his dad and his groomsmen suited up at The Desmond, where everyone would eventually gather later that day in celebration. Kelly and her girls were busy with hair, makeup, gowns and gorgeous heels at Kelly’s parents house. Even Kelly’s adorable pup joined in for some glam and pictures!
Trolleys were then boarded and it was off to Our Lady of Assumption Church, where a beautiful ceremony was performed. We then stopped at a local park for some lovely greens, pathways and stone scenery for fun pictures with the bridal party and then some intimate couple time with the newlyweds.
The Desmond Hotel of Malvern hosted the reception. It was very important to Kelly and Scott that they were able to enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests and they did just that! Introductions then led them into a gorgeous room filled with soft romantic lighting and elegant flowers and settings. EBE’s Fiji band electrified the crowd and kept the party going strong all night!
